Marie Kohart, MS.Ed., has a Bachelors and Master’s Degree from the University of Kansas in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Unified. She received specialized training while at KU towards endorsements in Adaptive (high Incidence disabilities) and Reading Specialist. She has worked as a 5th and 1st grade teacher; reading specialist, and is currently working for Gardner/Edgerton Schools early childhood special education team as part of the assessment team, and as an itinerant ECSE, supporting children with identified developmental delays and their caregivers/teachers in community programs.
