I’m a proud custodial Grandparent from Washington, DC. I am also a Certified Peer Specialist and family leader volunteering with DC Spaces In Action, The PAIMI Council Disability Rights of ULS, Community Connections HEART Advisory Board, DC Families United, The Early Childhood Innovation Network, Health Services for Children with Special Needs Advisory Council, and currently studying to become a Wellness Recovery Action Plan trainer. I love being an Advocate and Activist, it fills every void that once was riddled with depression and anxiety.
