Parent successes and challenges relative to meaningful inclusion from early intervention through school aged services will be presented. Strategies for creating and sustaining strong family and child/youth capacity building will be outlined toward successful inclusion in community and school settings for families and children with disabilities.
Harriet is a Professor of Early Childhood and Special Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she teaches and researches issues regarding family empowerment, ethics, and interprofessional preparation.
