Improving Language and Literacy Skills of Children with Autism via Parent Coaching

We conducted a pilot study examining the efficacy of parent-directed training to improve the home literacy environment of children with autism spectrum disorder in order to increase their language and emergent literacy skills. Using a telehealth approach, training included environmental arrangement, positive behavior supports, conversation expansion, and emergent literacy strategies. (BCBA Type 2 CE Eligible)
