This presentation spotlights our journey teaching pre-service and in-service teachers to use their student's strengths and interests as a starting point for instruction. We will share our process as well as their reactions to emergent curriculum. We also describe the integration of developmentally appropriate practices, student strengths and emergent curriculum.
