Practitioners need better information regarding how preschool children are responding to literacy instruction to guide instructional improvements and IEP goals. This poster reports findings that support an observational measure's relationship to children's pre-academic behaviors and teacher's literacy focus during daily preschool activities. Implications provide practical guidance for improving intentional instruction.
