Systematic prompting procedures are effective for teaching skills to children, but how should practitioners select which procedure to use for whom? This study compared the efficacy of two prompting procedures--CTD and SLP--to teach expressive identification to 10 preschoolers with and without disabilities. Outcomes and implications for practice will be discussed.
